A recent Discovery

While adding some E-bike trails on his family's property (site of the old railway depot and Fountain Park), Marc Kroetch uncovered part of the staircase that led up to town from the train station.  He also uncovered a concrete pad that, like the steps and the stone fountain, is a remnant of the Idaho & Washington Northern Railroad that used to have a station and shop here in Spirit Lake.
